30001 Rigid Microplane®
30001 for Hacksaw Frame

The rigid blade is not affected by frame tension. It is flat, stiff and fast cutting, even when hand held. The rigid blade is usually the best choice for quickly roughing out a shape or removing large amounts of material.


30002 Flexible Microplane®
30002 for Hacksaw Frame

The flexible blade is best for smoothing convex surfaces and rounding sharp edges. If it is stretched tight in a hacksaw frame, it is flat and fast cutting. If the frame tension is decreased, the blade will bend slightly around a convex surface for a smooth blended cutting action.
